1. Agreement and authority
By submitting a booking request, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are the vehicle owner or have the owner’s permission to authorize the service. Your typed name, checked acceptance box, and submission constitute your electronic agreement to these Terms and the Liability Waiver.
2. Booking and confirmation
A submitted request is not a confirmed appointment. The selected time may be temporarily held while availability, vehicle condition, service scope, location, and payment are confirmed. JL Mobile Detailing may decline or reschedule a request for safety, weather, access, equipment, staffing, or service-area reasons.
3. Pricing and payment
Displayed prices are starting prices based on vehicle type and expected condition. Excessive soil, pet hair, stains, odors, contamination, oversized vehicles, specialty materials, or requested add-ons may require an adjusted quote before work begins. Customers may select a 50% deposit or payment in full. The remaining balance is due immediately when service is completed. Travel outside the standard South Bay service area may be charged at $0.87 per mile when disclosed and accepted before service.
4. Customer responsibilities
- Provide a safe, lawful work area and accurate address.
- Remove valuables, cash, weapons, medications, child seats, and sensitive personal property.
- Disclose alarms, leaks, electrical problems, damaged or loose parts, aftermarket modifications, delicate finishes, recent paintwork, and any known hazardous material.
- Provide lawful access to the vehicle and permission to move it a reasonable distance when necessary to perform the service.
- Keep children, pets, and bystanders away from the active work area.
5. Service limitations
Detailing improves vehicle appearance and cleanliness but does not guarantee complete removal of every stain, odor, scratch, swirl, etching, oxidation, biological contaminant, or embedded material. Some correction attempts could worsen already weakened, repaired, aged, peeling, or improperly installed surfaces; those conditions should be disclosed before service.
6. Inspection and concerns
Please inspect the vehicle promptly after service and report any concern with photographs within 48 hours so JL Mobile Detailing has a reasonable opportunity to inspect and address it. This notice request does not shorten any non-waivable legal deadline or right.
7. Cancellations and weather
Cancellation, rescheduling, deposit-retention, or refund terms shown when payment is requested will control that transaction. Weather or unsafe conditions may require rescheduling. Any approved refund is returned through the original payment method when practicable.
8. Photos and records
JL Mobile Detailing may photograph the vehicle before, during, and after service to document condition, service quality, and claims. Identifying information will not be intentionally displayed in marketing without permission. Separate consent should be obtained before using recognizable customer information for advertising.
9. Liability limits
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, JL Mobile Detailing is not responsible for pre-existing damage, undisclosed defects, ordinary wear, defective or loose components, aftermarket-part failure, or loss of property left in the vehicle. Any limitation or release applies only where legally enforceable and does not cover fraud, willful injury, gross negligence, or other liability that cannot lawfully be waived.
10. Governing law and severability
California law governs these terms. Any dispute will be handled in a court with proper jurisdiction in Los Angeles County unless applicable law requires otherwise. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
