NOTICE: By accepting this waiver, you acknowledge risks associated with mobile vehicle detailing and release certain claims based on ordinary negligence to the fullest extent California law permits. This waiver does not release gross negligence, reckless or willful misconduct, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be waived.
1. Service authorization
You authorize JL Mobile Detailing, Juan Lopez, and their authorized helpers or agents to enter, clean, operate vehicle controls, open compartments included in the service, and move the vehicle a reasonable distance when necessary to perform the requested work. You represent that you have authority to grant this permission.
2. Assumption of ordinary risks
You understand that detailing may involve water, electricity, hoses, pressure-washing equipment, vacuums, steam, brushes, towels, cleaning chemicals, protectants, ladders or stools, and temporary movement of the vehicle. Ordinary risks can include slips, water intrusion through defective seals, reaction of weakened materials, discoloration, lifting of loose paint or film, and failure of brittle, repaired, aftermarket, or improperly installed parts.
3. Required disclosure
Before service, you agree to identify known damage or special conditions, including loose trim, cracked glass, failing clear coat, peeling paint, damaged wheels, weak upholstery, aftermarket electronics, alarms, leaks, electrical faults, recent paint or body work, wraps, tint, ceramic coatings, mold, bodily fluids, pests, needles, weapons, or other hazards. JL Mobile Detailing may stop work if an undisclosed condition presents a safety or damage risk.
4. Personal property
You are responsible for removing valuables and personal items. JL Mobile Detailing is not responsible for items that are lost, damaged, discarded as apparent trash, or exposed during cleaning unless the loss is caused by liability that cannot legally be limited.
5. Release of ordinary-negligence claims
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless JL Mobile Detailing, Juan Lopez, and their authorized helpers or agents from claims for property damage or loss arising from the ordinary negligence inherent in performing the authorized detailing service, including damage caused or contributed to by pre-existing, hidden, weakened, defective, modified, or undisclosed vehicle conditions.
6. Excluded conduct
This release does not apply to gross negligence, reckless or willful misconduct, fraud, intentional injury, violations of law, or any duty or remedy that California law does not permit a party to waive.
7. Customer-caused claims
You agree to be responsible for reasonable losses or third-party claims resulting from your lack of authority to approve service, materially inaccurate information, undisclosed hazards, unsafe property conditions under your control, or instructions that conflict with manufacturer guidance. This provision does not require you to cover JL Mobile Detailing for conduct that cannot legally be shifted to you.
8. Acknowledgment
You confirm that you had the opportunity to read this waiver and the Terms & Conditions before booking, understand them, and accept them voluntarily. Your typed name and booking submission serve as your electronic acceptance and are recorded with the applicable document version and timestamp.
